We have been very lucky to have Armstrong join us as a Music Playgroup facilitator recently this year to lead the children with songs and dances. We would love to hear from more parents that might like to lead the group occasionally to give our regulars a break. This will help Music Playgroup to continue to maintain itself.
Music Playgroup has been run by volunteers for over 25 years! If you would like to support this wonderful program by helping to run the group every week through term or even occasionally it would be fantastic. You dont need music teaching experience – just a willingness to to turn up and hand out the instruments and if you know a few songs to sing that would be even better but not essential. There are lots of parents there each week to help.
Please get in touch if you would like to be involved. Ph. 5472 4842
Tuesday morning is a great time for pre-kinder children in the foyer of the library. First is the library’s storytime with Jess Saunders, and then comes music playgroup with a chance to jump around to traditional songs and music.
We thank those people who recently donated instruments for the children to use.
When: Tuesdays 11.15am-12.00pm during school terms.
(Bring the kids down to The Town Hall for Community Lunch at 12.30pm – $5 for a 2 course meal and everyone is welcome!)
Venue: Castlemaine Library Foyer, Mechanics Lane, Castlemaine
There is no need to book, but if you would like more information, ring Castlemaine Community House ph: 5472 4842 or email email@example.com.
