Sew Basic, Baby: coming after easter

Julie McLaughlan of Julie Red Projects has designed a special eight-week beginners’ sewing class for new parents or parents-to-be (or grandparents, aunts, uncles etc.). Sewing machines provided, small class sizes, friendly casual learning environment.

This course will run in term two, after easter!

Castlemaine Community House will be offering this special course on sewing things for small people, starting in April 2012,  at a subsidised rate for concession-card holders with the support of ACFE.

The class in term two will run during the day. We plan to run a class in the evening in term three.

8 sessions, on dates to be arranged in term two, at Julie Red’s Studio at Workspace, Halford Street, Castlemaine.

Cost: (concession price, including amenities): $120 (full price: $260)

This introductory sewing course is subsidised with funding from Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE).
