Coffin making and decorating
Would you like to make your own coffin? Once you have made it, you will be able to decorate it in any way you think appropriate. You can use it as part of a do-it-yourself funeral or with a professional undertaker.

Sign up now for the Castlemaine Community House coffin making course. You will design, create and decorate your own casket.
Cabinet maker Susan Orchard will help you to make a coffin that will not only be a fraction of the cost of a commercial one but can be decorated as you want. It can be part of making your own funeral arrangements and in the meantime it will be a talking point in your home as you use it as a coffee table, broom cupboard or bench seat!
The next course will run for eight sessions on Tuesday mornings, 9.30am-12.30pm, starting in February 2010.
The cost is only $155 (concessions $150), plus an additional $150 for materials.
Venue: Lot 19 Shed, Langslow Street Castlemaine
