CCH is involved in a number of projects.
We have a partnership relationship with the Chess Squared chess in schools project.
CCH has, since 2004, been involved in the Stronger Families Project, providing an opportunity for fathers in Loddon Prison to have a monthly playtime with their children.
CCH hosts the Peace Choir, an ongoing project that commenced in 2008 in partnership with St. Luke’s, Windarring, Maine Connection, the Uniting Church and the Angel Fund (a local philanthropist funder). The Peace Choir is comprised of participants, clients and support people from Windarring, St. Luke’s and Maine Connection.
Our adult education program is wide ranging, and includes an ongoing course in permaculture, computer training, short courses and workshops and support for Sudanese settlement and training towards a Transition Town.
