Seniors Festival 2017

“You’re Welcome” to the Castlemaine Senior’s Festival 2017

Seniors can look forward to a fantastic range of activities and fun in October as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival. The festival is a great way to get active, try something new and meet new friends.

Mayor’s Message—2017 Senior’s Festival

“What a pleasure it is to support the annual Victorian Seniors Festival. This iconic festival provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, catch up with friends, meet some new ones and have fun.
The festival promotes active living, healthy ageing and building new connections. It is an excellent example of how Council is working towards our objective of supporting socially connected, safe and inclusive communities.
Thank you to the many people who have volunteered their time and worked hard to bring the festival to life. Castlemaine Community House has led the project this year and we thank them for their involvement and hard work.
I encourage all seniors to make the most of the varied program this year. There really is something for everyone!”
Sharon Telford – Mayor of Mount Alexander Shire

Fans of The Beatles will love this year’s free community concert.
