Climate Change... and its impacts are far reaching, diverse and yet to be fully understood.
As people work to wrap their heads around this as a concept, as a current reality and a future, there also comes stresses.
All Australians witnessed the devastating impact of our recent bush fires, and grieved with those affected. For some, grief was also felt for our society and earth as a whole, having been given a glimpse into what climate change truly means to us all, practically, in our lives...
Understanding and appreciating the far-reaching impacts of climate change on our society, our own health (mental & physical) and our children, in partnership with Mount Alexander Shire Council, Castlemaine Community House are hosting a series of sessions around coping with climate change, as a person, a parent and a community.
Facilitated by Dr Susie Burke, environmental psychologist and therapist, these three sessions offer an opportunity for reflection, as well as insights and ways to develop resilience around the climate crisis.
