Knit more: Follow up Skills

Watch out Nanna, there’s a new knitter in town… With essentials skills under your belt, and a scarf to show for it, up your skills in this hands-on workshop to start a simple woolen project. Using the basic stitches mastered at home, we will start thinking more about how knitting can work in patterns.

Payment must be made by the 1st August to secure a place in this workshop.

Date: Tuesday 13th August
Time: 6.00pm – 8.15pm
Where: Castlemaine Community House, 30 Templeton Street.
Cost: $35 (Full) or $25 (Conc. or Early Bird Discount. EDB available until 16th July) All Materials and equipment provided!

Tutor: Tara Gilbee

Tara is a collector of ideas and inspiration from a variety of sources. She has been a practicing artist for over 20 years and has taught health and art subjects to young and adult learners. She has a personal interest in the traditional crafts she learnt in her childhood and her own varied arts practice which employs a range of approaches and sites for making art. She is currently studying her Masters at Victoria College of the Arts.
