Nordic Pole Walking Program

Take in the historic sights of Maldon while enjoying a full body workout!

In 2020, Castlemaine Community House in conjunction with Maldon Hospital will be running Nordic Pole Walking Groups.

Nordic Walking is a low impact form of exercise that can be performed by anyone, anywhere and any fitness level. When using the correct techniques, you can great a great head-to-toe workout that engages up to 90% of the bodies muscles and improves your cardio fitness, while decreasing the strain on the lower body caused by regular walking or jogging.

  • If you are interested in leading a weekly Nordic Pole Walking group as a volunteer in Maldon next year please contact Kez (Castlemaine Community House) or Liza (Maldon Hospital). All training will be provided by Nordic Academy, you must be able to attend training 23rd & 24th November and complete Level 2 First Aid.
