Castlemaine Takes Pride – Inclusivity Training

Castlemaine takes pride workshop castlemaine

Short test: Do you know what the following letters all stand for?   L.G.B.T.Q.I.+

If not, read on.

Mount Alexander Shire is fortunate to have secured the highly sought after LGBTIQ+ champion Mez Lanigan to lead free training sessions on gender and diversity.

Increasingly, professionals and service deliverers are expected to be LGBTQI+ literate. This training is perfect for people who know a little but want to be more confident when having discussions about diversity, or need to know more to function effectively in their role.

The sessions in Maldon and Castlemaine are the perfect opportunity to up-skill in this area, to network with colleagues across the Shire and to ask those questions you’ve always wanted to.

And, you will be lucky enough to partake in Murnong Mamma’s delicious refreshments.
