Learn the basics for new and established fruit trees in your garden, and some more advanced techniques.

How to sharpen and choose tools, when where and how to cut, winter versus summer pruning.

Some theory, and plenty of hands on experience in a garden in Castlemaine.

Bring secateurs if you have them, and warm clothes, boots and hat.  

If very wet weather is forecast, we will decide to postpone 24 hours before. 

$40 full fee, $30 concession

Limited to maximum of 10 places but we will run additional classes if there is demand.

One session is currently scheduled for Saturday the 30th of June from 10:00am – 12:30pm.
Another is scheduled for Sunday the 15th of July, also from 10:00am – 12:30pm.
