Standard Mental Health First Aid Day 1

$60 – $80The Standard Mental Health First Aid Course (SMHFA) teaches first aid skills for adult members of the public to give initial help to adults experiencing mental health problems, in a mental health crisis situation, or in the early stages of a mental illness.
This course is being delivered by Heather Steele, generalist counsellor from Castlemaine District Community Health. Heather is an accredited trainer with MHFA Australia and an accredited Social Worker with the AASW.
This course runs for two days on Wednedsays 21 and 28 March, from 9:30am-4:30pm each day.
The course will be held in the activities room at Maldon Hospital. Cost is $80 full fee or $60 for those on a low income, and includes a light lunch and a MHFA manual.
